Welcome to South Kolkata Writers Cultural and Welfare Association

The South Kolkata Writers Cultural and Welfare Association is a lively group of writers and cultural enthusiasts focused on promoting literature, arts, and social welfare. The association publishes little magazines, books on literature and organizes a variety of cultural events, including seminars, competitions, to encourage creative expression and knowledge sharing. Through these initiatives, it strives to enrich the local community and support its members' cultural and literary pursuits.

Objects :

To publish or cause to be published useful literatures, magazines, books, e-books etc. without profit motive;

To arrange & organize Sahitya Sammelan, propagation, lectures, discussion, seminar, workshop etc. based on literature, cultural activities & social activities etc. for diffusion of knowledge;

To arrange to give award, honor to poet, writer, Magazine Secretary, reporter, social worker and other Honorary person;

To participate by the students/members of our organization in various competitions on all kind of literature and cultural oriented activities organized by other organization;

To arrange various literature oriented competitions like poetry, novel writing, short story, song writing and others;

To run, maintain, and carry above organization to perform cultural activities in different theatre hall of entertainment;

To give necessary education to the students/members on cultural activities, etc. by the qualified and experienced teachers;

To affiliate itself with such other recognized institution, societies, whose objects are fully or in part similar;

To arrange for social and cultural functions for the entertainment and benefit of members and local people;

To organize libraries and free reading room for the study of the students & members;

To help the members in every possible ways;
